Zimbabwe Women In Conversation Association (ZWICA)

Recognizing the role of women in community and the Zimbabwean context, we work with local communities using female experts in the conservation space to bring about a sustainable environment.

Fostering collaborative work between female experts in Agriculture, wildlife conservation and forest management for problem solving.

Rudo Chasi

Executive Director & Founder

Rudo is an expert on wildlife conservation and climate change Her background is in Criminal litigation, Policy development and Climate change. She is passionate about elevating the status of women in vulnerable communities by creating a network of professional women who can participate in key programmes and empower vulnerable communities through climate adaptation projects promoting sustainability.She is a leader with strong advocacy skills. A hurbert Humphrey alumni at the University of California Davis and LLM Environmental Law and Energy Candidate at Georgetown University.

Chido Chimedza

Accountant

Chido has a strong accounting background with expertise in accounting, international business scaling, and outsourcing. Chido has been able to build and transform finance functions to achieve business growth and increase productivity levels for many small businesses and entrepreneurs internationally. As a forward-thinking and analytical business leader, Chido brings her numbers skills to the team. She is a holder of a Bachelor of Business Science (Accounting) from Monash University

Rufaro Mukabeta

Public Health Expert

Rufaro is a public health professional with more than a decade’s worth of experience in the health industry .She is passionate about healthy communities and ensuring communities environments enable good health .Her role on the board is to advice on the interconnected relationship between the environment and public health and key projects communities live in environments with Clean air quality , access to safe drinking water and protection of communities from zoonotic diseases.

Tinashe Farawo

Public Relations & Communications

Tinashe Farawo is a communications expert, conservationist. He is a holder of MSc International Relations, BSc Media & Society Studies, National Diploma in Mass Communications.

Edith Mugehu

Director Agricultural Programs

Edith Mugehu is an agronomy crop improvement and seed systems expert. Her work seeks to foster climate resilience and adaptation in African cropping systems. She utilizes modern biotechnological and classical tools for positive gene identification and genetic evaluation toward the production of climate-smart crop cultivars and robust seed systems.
